We are Imantu: Images, Animations, and Tutorials. Our goal at Imantu is to bring together those three most sought after aspects of the creative world. We have been inspired by the great creative works that have been created by various artists on various websites but were forced to look elsewhere to figure out how to replicate certain aspects of their art or animations. Many experienced artists are willing to teach those who admire their works but they do not have the means to post tutorials or training sessions on the internet or must make multiple accounts on multiple sites to do so. At Imantu you can sit back and watch animations or look at images and become inspired. Then when you want to try something for yourself the tutorials will assist you in creating some amazing effects.

Our (Short) History

Irascibleone started work on the site completely from scratch in November of 2008 without much web development knowedge. Initially, the goal was just to make sure everything just plain worked. By the time five months had passed (April of 2009) public beta testing had begun, reluctantly. The site was very rough and simple only giving users the bare basics for what was dreamed up. Throughout Beta testing many ideas were conceived and many new features were added to the site, including a messaging system, freash news section, contents, polls, and a shop.

Eventually Imantu was pulled out of Beta testing. At this point things were still a little rough, but errors were not running as rampant and there was finally time to get everything looking better and adding some more advanced features. Soon enough brand new viewing pages and profiles were created, both with an abundance of new features to use. In October, it was determined that we needed a mascot. After a single night, it was decided a Manta Ray (later named Maunti) would become our mascot. Now, after a year of work irascibleone is still working hard on making updates to Imantu.
