I thought I would make a post here about what I have been doing. I know I have not done much over the last month or two (at least from your point of view) but I have been working on various things that need to get done. For one, I have been continuing to work on Imantu 2.0. I do not feel like I have gotten very far since the last time I posted. In any case, here is what has been going on since I put the new players on the site.

I've made a new video player. Yes, another one. Why? The one that I was using before would not work correctly with audio files. On top of that, it is a free flash player that anyone can use, so I was unable to get anyone to answer me on the forum to fix the problem. Fortunately, I was able to make a Silverlight player that has everything that I want for now. With that in mind, if you do not have Silverlight installed, you will need to get that so you can play videos here in the future. You should not have to worry about that until I manage to get v2.0 up and running.

The second thing I have been working on (and struggling with, as of late) is the upload pages. Actually, there will no longer be any upload pages as you know them here on this site as well as many other sites. I have decided to replace the upload pages with what I am calling the workshop. Rather than having multiple pages for each type of uploads, there will be one page, which, as I just said, is called the workshop page. Within the workshop, you will be able to upload items onto your workbench. Your workbench will contain all of the files that you have uploaded to the site, but have not published yet. That being said, you will also be able to publish any of the items on your workbench, all on the workshop page. Once published, the item will be removed from your workbench and it will be put into your gallery and out for the public for all to see.

That is the gist of it. Of course I have other things that I want to do with it, but I will not bring them up yet until I know I can make them work. Hope you guys are still there! I promise I will have a contest up for April, last month was a little rough for me.
